Petersfield Exhibition: Hand-finished prints

My browser items this year are 4 hand-finished prints. They can be taken away straight after purchase. The first opportunity to buy a print is at the private viewing in the Festival Hall from 7-9pm tonight.

Three of the images ("Origins 1", "Origins 2", "Flower power") are based on original artwork.

When people see one of my original paintings, they often comment that the work has a lot of life and depth. I have been experimenting with bringing some extra interest to my prints by hand-finishing the work.

I have created 2 50 x 50 cm prints based on the 90x90cm "Origins" painting I exhibited in Petersfield a year ago. I have not tried to replicate the details of the original artwork, which has gone to its new home a few months ago, but instead tried to capture the energy of the original.

One of the prints is printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper and the other on professional photography paper (C-Type Fuji Gloss) for those who prefer a glossy finish.

"Flower power" is also printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo. I photographed the central section of a painting called "Celebrating plants" and then added embellishments.

"Mysteries" was an experiment on Khadipaper and is printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
