Save the dates

Not long now until the exhibitions in Portsmouth Cathedral and the Petersfield Festival Hall. I am looking forward to exhibiting with both the Portsmouth and Hampshire Art Society and the Petersfield Arts and Crafts Society

I have not yet been provided with my stewarding rotas, but I am planning to be at both preview evenings, so please say hi if you decide to come. Artwork is often snapped up early, and there tends to be a real buzz on those evenings, so they are worth attending.

The private view for Portsmouth is on Wednesday, 16th August from 7-9pm, followed by the private view in Petersfield a week later on Wednesday, 23rd August, again from 7-9pm.

The Portsmouth exhibition in Portsmouth Cathedral runs from Thursday, 17th August to Thursday, 24th August. The cathedral is generally open to all visitors from 10am to 4pm - you can view the exhibition before and after church services as well, but there may not be an opportunity to purchase anything at those times.

The Petersfield exhibition at the Festival Hall opens on Thursday, 24th August and closes on Monday, 28th August. The exhibition is open from 10am-4pm. (All artwork in the foyer of the Festival Hall is on sale for £35 once again and can be taken straight home - this part of the exhibition is particularly popular, so it is worth visiting the exhibition early.)

You may also want to check out other events in Hampshire, as Hampshire Open Studios runs from 19th-28th August this year.

NB There won't be a blogpost on 4th August, but I will be sharing more about the artwork I am exhibiting from 11th August.
